Tendril Connect™ and Your Applications

Tendril Connect open APIs enable developers to create a wide variety of energy applications that leverage the Tendril Connect platform to monitor and control devices in the home and to provide consumption and pricing information to the consumer. Here's how it works:

• Your energy application uses Tendril Connect open APIs to send a request to the platform.
• Tendril Connect processes your request. It gathers consumption, pricing, and user information from a variety of sources, including utilities and HAN devices as your application dictates.
• Tendril Connect returns gathered data or operations results to your application.
• Your application displays the data or sends subsequent requests to Tendril Connect, as needed.
